Who is responsible
This website (ataides.com) is operated by ataides. For anything related to your personal data, write to contact@ataides.com.
What this site collects
Nothing by default. The website is a set of static pages served from a content delivery network. It does not set cookies, does not use tracking pixels and does not run advertising scripts.
Server logs. The hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may keep standard access logs for security and operations: IP address, request time, requested page, browser type. Logs are kept for a short, fixed period and are not combined with other data or used to identify visitors.
Analytics, if enabled. If a privacy-friendly analytics service is enabled, it collects aggregate page view counts without cookies or persistent identifiers. It cannot identify you across sites or sessions.
Contact. When you email me, message me on LinkedIn, or use a contact form on this site, I receive what you send: your name, your contact details and the content of your message. I use it only to answer you and, if we decide to work together, to prepare a proposal.
Legal basis
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal basis for processing your contact data is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me. Server logs are processed under legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Retention
Messages and proposals are kept while we are in contact and for the period required by tax and contract law when we do business together. Messages that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months.
Sharing
Your data is not sold and not shared for marketing. It may be processed by service providers I use to run this website and my email (currently Amazon Web Services for hosting and my email provider). Providers process data under contract and only for the service they provide.
International transfers
The website is served from data centers around the world through a content delivery network. Email may be processed outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You can ask what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to contact@ataides.com. Under the LGPD you can also contact the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD); under the GDPR you can contact your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If the way this site handles data changes (for example, if a contact form or analytics service is added), this page is updated and the date at the top changes.
